Educational Background

  • Master of Applied Science: University of Waterloo (Supervisor: Prof. Siva Sivoththaman)
  • Bachelor of Science: 2+2 Material and Nanoscience program, University of Waterloo joint with Beijing Jiao Tong University

Research Interests

Topics: semiconductor/2D materials/ photodetector

Why 2D materials: Due to their excellent properties, 2D materials have wide applications in optoelectronic devices and biosensing areas. But defects will inevitably be created during the material synthesis process, then helping detect and identify the 2D material is of great interest.
