Why 2D materials: I was interested in pursuing a degree studying 2D materials as my previous lab group was interested in studying energy storage through the use of batteries and supercapacitors. With energy storage being one of the domains under the 2D-MATURE project, I believed this would be a great area to continue studying in my academic career.
