Research Interests

Why 2D materials: I’ve always been interested in new technology, and I think that knowledge of the fundamental characteristics of materials is crucial for the development of novel technologies. 2D materials is a very new research area with a lot of potential due to their unique physical and chemical properties that are not found in their bulk counterparts. Their atomic-scale thickness allows for increased control over their electronic and optical properties, which can be used to create new types of devices and systems with enhanced functionality.
