Research Interests

Topics: My primary research interest is the development of novel solid-state electrolytes or electrocatalysts to enable electrically rechargeable secondary batteries with enhanced safety and superior cycling performance. I’m also interested in combining machining learning and statistical models with high-throughput DFT to achieve a better selection process for electrocatalysts.

Why 2D materials: These materials are applied more and more frequently in the field of electrochemical engineering, which provide abundant active sites and improved reaction kinetics to electrical rechargeable batteries – a promising solution to fulfill the high energy demand of the society.
