It was an honor to have Professor Jonathan Coleman from the Trinity College Dublin as a speaker for the seminar. Professor Coleman is currently the Erasmus Smith’s Professor of Natural and Experimental Philosophy in the School of Physics and a PI in the CRANN and AMBER research centres.

On April 11th, 2024, he gave a talk on „Solution processing of nanosheets: From kitchen blender to printed electronics“, showing that the second cheapest kitchen blender is capable of conducting liquid-phase exfoliation and adding graphene to silly putty creates a sensor, which is so sensitive that it can detect footsteps of a spider.

Thank you, Jonathan Coleman, for this inspiring talk!
