In February we continued our CENIDE & WIN Seminar Series with our first guest of the year: Professor Jani Kotakoski from the University of Vienna. He leads the Physics of Nanostructured Materials group and focuses on atomic-scale manipulation and characterization of low-dimensional materials such as graphene using advanced transmission electron microscopy.

In his talk, Professor Kotakoski presented an integrated TEM/STEM platform enabling real-time analysis and manipulation of 2D materials. He highlighted how atomically precise structures can be engineered for applications ranging from catalysis to quantum technologies.

Thank you so much, Jani Kotakoski, for sharing your knowledge with us!
